About me
I am a PhD candidate in Finance and Econometrics at the University of Warwick, UK. I work under the supervision of Prof. Ana Galvao and Prof. Ivan Petrella.
My work has a strong empirical focus and concentrates on the transmission of economic shocks. My current research focuses on understanding how U.S. trade policy uncertainty shocks, sectoral shocks, and global inflation shape the dynamic responses of domestic inflation.
Prior to my PhD, I worked as an Economist at the Monetary Research Division of the Central Bank of Mexico. In 2022, I spent a three-month research visit at the Macroeconomic Analysis Division of the Central Bank of Chile.
